17, 2007 Dear Bishop Rosecrans Community: As the Catholic Schools of Zanesville continue to seek solutions to present and future challenges, we are pleased to announce that we are beginning a formal long-range planning process that will examine all areas of school growth and invite and involve people through the development process. With people and the gospel at the center of our mission, we define development as "the meaningful involvement of people in our mission and vision for the future." One of the major components of this process will be to form a collaboration of nine planning teams that will meet over the next six months to create the Long_Range Strategic Plan (LRSP). This is an exciting and challenging undertaking, which invites the support of key leaders in our community. We would
like to personally invite you to participate
in this challenging process as a representative on one of the Nine Planning Area Committees.
Each school will be represented throughout all planning areas:
Academics. Administration and
Finance, Building and Grounds, Development and Marketing, Faculty and Staff, Spiritual Life, Student Life, and Technology. The first meeting for each Planning Area Committee is scheduled for Monday, September 17, at 7:00 p.m. at Bishop Rosecrans High School. Bernard DuMond, Senior Associate of the Institute of School and Parish Development (ISPD) is serving as our consultant / facilitator. We are pleased to have the proven expertise and guidance that ISPD brings to this critical process. Hopefully, you will be able to work with us on this most important endeavor as we work to shape the future of Bishop Fenwick School and Bishop Rosecrans High School. Sincerely yours,
