Young Adult Ministry

How does the Diocese of Columbus minister to and with young adults?

The first community that Catholics connect with is the parish.  While parishes take a preeminent place in young adult ministry, the diocese ministers to and with young adults in many ways.

Ministry Formation Office - (614) 241-2544
Offers programs for lay ministry formation such as Component I and II and the Diocesan Summer Institute.

Family Life Office - (614) 241-2560
Provides training, resources, and support in the following ministries: Marriage Preparation, Marriage Enrichment, Natural Family Planning, Bereavement, Divorced, and Family Enrichment.

Office for Social Concerns - (614) 241-2540
Serves as a central diocesan resource for social justice education and advocacy. (Respect Life, Catholic Campaign for Human Development, Catholic Relief Services, and Rural Life.)

Office of Liturgy - (614) 221-4640
Provides liturgical resources and services, arranges workshops and days of renewal, and promotes an understanding of the Rite of Christian Initiation.
