Red Sash of Merit
The Red Sash of Merit serves as an award for outstanding Catholic Scouts in the Diocese of Columbus, usually high school students, who have already earned the Ad Altare Dei Emblem (Boy Scouts) or Marian Medal (Girls). These Scouts demonstrate leadership, accept responsibility, and are active in their troop, community, and parish.
