1. Columbus Clippers:
The Columbus Clippers offer a unique opportunity to Central Ohio schools.
This spring, the Clippers historian, Joe Santry will be available to your school
to give PowerPoint presentations to your history classes. Joe gives
300-plus speeches a year and it's FREE!
Mr. Santry, one of two historians in
the history of baseball, is a gifted and entertaining speaker. He tailors
his talks to the age of each class. He also consults with each teacher to
tie his presentation with the class plan. His talks are based on baseball
but branches out into many areas of history.
Joe has a gift for developing a
lifetime interest in history with young people. One of his favorite
presentations is how ordinary people from your neighborhood changed the world.

3. The Miracle Worker: Columbus Children's Theatre will present The Miracle Worker from February 6 through the 23rd at the Park Street Theater in Columbus. The play is recommended for students from age 8 up. For reservations call 614-224-6672.
