IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1.    Administrative Assistants Conference:  A one day conference will be held in Columbus for administrative assistants.  The conference will be of benefit to administrative assistants, office managers, secretaries, support staff - anyone who is responsible for coordinating, managing, or being an effective member of an office team.  The conference will be held on January 13, 2003 at the Holiday Inn, City Center.  Visit www.skillpath.com for easy on-line registration.

2.    Columbus International Program:  Experience the tastes, sights, and sounds of Germany.  Laura Kerres from Hamburg and Uive Sieverding from Hanover will be present.  The program will take place on Friday, November 22, 2002 at West Central School, 1481 W. Town Street at 7pm.  Call 221-0034 for more information.

3.    Staff Development for Educators: 

        The State of Ohio First Grade Teacher Convention (February 3-4) will be held at the Columbus Hilton, Easton.         
       
        The State of Ohio Second Grade Teacher Convention (January 27-28) will be held at the Columbus Hilton, Easton.

        The State of Ohio Third Grade Teacher Convention (February 10-11) will be held at the Columbus Hilton, Easton.

4.    Children's Literature Seminar:  Dr. Peggy Sharp will present a totally new seminar concerned with what's new in children's literature and how to use it in the classroom.  The seminar will be held in Columbus at the Convention Center on January 14, 2003.  Register on-line at www.ber.org.

5.    LPDC Meeting:  The Diocesan LPDC meets at Saint Anthony School on Thursday, December 12.  (Please note:  the date printed in the principals' calendar is incorrect.)  Teachers wishing to submit data for CEU credit or those who need to have an IPDP approved should submit materials to the Personnel Office, 197 East Gay Street, Columbus, OH  43215 prior to the December 12 date.
