For the Teacher - Celebrating the Church
Year: VC 6404 (video 4)
This series attempts to convey the power and beauty of the Church seasons and
events. Each video begins with a story that then leads to the liturgical
and devotional practices of Pentecost. This video is a wonderful way to
educate intermediate and junior high students with the use of media.
For the Classroom - The April/May Catechist
Magazine has many wonderful activities for Pentecost that can be adapted for
any program and any age.
- Pentecost Treasure Chests is
a way to focus in on the treasures of kingdom of heaven, love, family and faith
that Jesus was trying to direct us to in his teachings and actions. The
article gives very detailed direction and a material list. It is a
meaningful item to have students take with them during the summer break, to
continue their growing in faith.
- Pentecost: Celebration for
Families is an article that is full of various Pentecost activities for
children and their families. It is a great opportunity to include parents
in the catechesis of their children.
For Resource: On the Web
Catholic Easter season readings, audio and video reflections,
updated daily for the 50 days of Easter season, which starts Easter Sunday and
ends at Pentecost.
