Jesus' life and teachings Objectives:  Standard I E-3,10,12,13

For Teachers - After Easter is a wonderful time to review the meaning of the Resurrection in our lives and what Jesus was all about.  We are asked during this Easter time to carry on the message and the work of Jesus.  If you want a handout with some of the main teachings of Jesus, e-mail me with your fax or address of school/parish:  rradecki@cdeducation.org.  "Celebrate the Resurrection" (40 Ways to Make the Most of Easter), pp. 20-21, in Religion Teacher's Journal has some good ideas.  "The Journey of the Ring Bearer" pp.24-25 gives some ways to discuss The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the meaning for students regarding the hope that this season brings us for our life journey.

For the Classroom - Have a prayer service on Baptism with a renewal of Baptismal Promises.  Does each student know when they were Baptized and the challenge of living their Baptism each day?  What does it look like?  Writing a card of congratulations and welcome to the Newly Baptized of the parish is also a good baptismal activity.
