2. Pathwise Training Session: A Pathwise training will be offered by the Diocese on June 10 and 11, 2004. To register, contact Kitty Quinn at 221-5829.
3. Principals' Academy 2004: The Principals' Academy will be held June 24-25 by the Diocese. Tom Guskey will be discussing assessment for student learning. School teams including administrators are encouraged to attend. The academy program will be held at the Josephinum.
4. Igniting a Passion for Reading:
This workshop, which will be held in Columbus on March 9, deals with engaging
students in the art of reading. Teachers will learn how to foster in
students a passionate love of books that will carry them upward and onward.
The workshop is designed for teachers
of grades 5 through 12. It will be held at The Blackwell Inn at Fisher
College, The Ohio State University, 250 Fisher Hall, 2100 Neil Avenue, Columbus.

5. Weekly Religion Ideas -

Teacher: Religion Teacher's Journal (Feb. 2004 Issue) is packed
with Lenten prayer ideas, activities and reflective articles for catechists and
teachers. Two sections that will be an asset to any classroom or program
are the Stations of the Cross as seen by 1st century children and Lenten
Crucifixes, a project that deepens your students understanding of Lent through a
hands-on prayer.

an online retreat for young people and adults to explore the cardinal and
theological virtues of the Catholic tradition during the seven weeks

observing Lent. Ritual such as washing of the feet, Stations of the Cross,
