1.    Middle School Conference:  "Maximizing Skills for Lifelong Success" will address today's most timely topics including differentiated instruction, literacy, writing, strategies for at-risk students, discipline and more.  The conference will be held in Columbus on December 1-2 at the Hilton Columbus.  If you have any questions regarding the conference call 1-800-462-1478.

2.    Designing Creative Schedules for Middle and High Schools:  In an era of high-stakes testing, continued economic constraints, and increased pressure to perform, effective and flexible scheduling is the key to success.  National expert Elliot Merenbloom will discuss ways to explore scheduling models, adapt existing schedules to better address student needs and other scheduling topics.  The workshop will be held in Columbus on December 8 at the Holiday Inn Express (Airport).  For additional information visit www.merenbloom.com.

3.    Reminder:  The Diocesan LPDC will meet on December 9 at Saint Anthony School.  Teachers who need to submit an IPDP or who wish CEU credit can send material to Ed Zettler, Education Personnel Office, 197 E. Gay Street, Columbus   43215.

4.    Fee Waiver Requests of ODU:  Waiver requests for Ohio Dominican University are due by Friday, December 3.
