Red Sash of Merit (Youth)

The Red Sash of Merit is intended to serve as an award for a select number of outstanding Catholic Scouts in the Diocese of Columbus, usually high school students. It should be awarded to a Scout who is very active in his Troop, Community and Church. He should demonstrate strong leadership and accept responsibility well. A Boy Scout Nominee should have earned the Ad Altare Dei Religious Emblem.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Medal

For Adults

The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton medal recognizes the meritorious contributions of adults who serve Catholic youth through Girl Scouts and Camp Fire. This medal affirms the work of those who help youth develop their spiritual lives within the context of these organizations.

St. Anne Medal

For Adults

The St. Anne Medal is the highest national recognition for adults who serve Catholic youth through Girl Scouts and Camp Fire. This medal affirms the work of individuals who foster Catholic adult leadership in youth ministry through these national youth-serving organizations.

Bishop's Parish (Unit)

The Bishop's Parish Award acknowledges the dedication and Catholic program involvement of the unit. DCCS programs, service programs, Scout activities and unit growth are all factors in determining the recipients of this award.
